This is the single most important section of these terms, and by ordering from us, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:
- All products sold by Claripep are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research purposes only.
- No product sold on this website is intended, labelled, or approved for human or veterinary consumption, administration, or use of any kind.
- No product sold on this website has been evaluated by the MHRA, FDA, or any other regulatory body for safety or efficacy in humans or animals.
- By placing an order, you confirm that you are purchasing as a researcher, laboratory, or institution, and that you will not use, administer, ingest, inject, or apply any product to yourself, another person, or any animal.
- We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or restrict any order where we reasonably believe the products will not be used solely for legitimate research purposes.
We make no representations and provide no information regarding dosing, administration, or any other matter related to human or animal use, because no such use is permitted or supported by us.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where:
- Product is unexpectedly out of stock
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment
- We suspect the order is not intended for genuine research use
- There is an error in pricing or product description on our website
If we are unable to fulfil your order after payment has been taken, we will notify you and provide a full refund.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices listed on the website are in GBP (£) and include any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; the price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of purchase.
Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.
6. Certificates of Analysis
Where a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided alongside a product, it relates to the specific batch indicated and is supplied for informational and verification purposes. While we take care to ensure the accuracy of testing information provided to us by independent laboratories, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of any third-party analytical report.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, of order confirmation, excluding bank holidays. Delivery timescales provided are estimates and not guaranteed. Claripep is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs processes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address and any access instructions are accurate.
8. Returns and Refunds
Please see our separate Returns Policy for full details. In summary: due to the nature of the products sold (chemical compounds intended for laboratory use), we are unable to accept returns of opened or used products. Unopened products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions set out in our Returns Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claripep Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any product purchased through this website, including but not limited to any use of a product outside the stated research-only purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
