Compliance & Sourcing

Claripep operates within a clearly defined legal and compliance framework. This page explains our regulatory position, our approach to sourcing, and what we expect from every supplier relationship.

Our Regulatory Position

The compounds we supply — including BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, and Epithalon — are not controlled substances under the UK Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. They are not licensed medicines, and we do not market, label, or sell them as such. All products supplied by Claripep are intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research, in line with the recognised “Research Use Only” (RUO) category under UK regulatory guidance.

We do not provide dosing information, administration guidance, or any content implying human or veterinary use. This is not a marketing choice — it is the regulatory line that keeps research compounds outside the scope of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and we maintain it strictly.

Our Sourcing Standards

We work only with suppliers who can demonstrate:

  • Accurate, verifiable product documentation — clear compound identity, sequence, and CAS number matching independently published chemical reference data
  • A credible quality and testing process, even before our own independent verification is applied
  • Transparent, compliant trade practices — we do not work with suppliers who indicate that shipping documentation will not accurately reflect the contents of a shipment

This last point matters enough to state plainly: if a supplier tells us that customs paperwork will misrepresent what is actually being shipped, we do not proceed with that order, regardless of price or product quality. Accurate import documentation is a baseline requirement for us, not a negotiable one.

Independent Verification

Sourcing standards alone are not sufficient — every batch we stock is also independently tested by a third-party laboratory before being made available for sale. See our How We Test page for the full verification process, and our guide to reading a peptide COA for what to look for in any documentation, from us or any other supplier.

Why We Publish This

Most suppliers in this market don’t publish anything about how they choose who they buy from. We think sourcing integrity matters as much as testing integrity — a perfectly tested batch sourced through a non-compliant supply chain is still a compliance risk, for us and for our customers. We’d rather be transparent about the standard we hold ourselves to than let it go unstated.

This page describes our internal compliance approach and does not constitute legal advice. All products supplied by Claripep Ltd are intended strictly for laboratory research applications.
