Correct storage is one of the most important factors in preserving a research peptide’s integrity between the moment it’s tested and the moment it’s used. This guide explains how we ship and package products, and how to store them once they arrive.
How We Ship
Every Claripep order is dispatched within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, via tracked UK courier. Products ship as sealed, lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in their original vial, with a desiccant sachet included in the packaging to absorb ambient moisture during transit.
Lyophilised peptides are considerably more stable than their reconstituted form, and short transit times at ambient UK temperatures do not meaningfully affect a properly sealed vial. This is standard practice across the research peptide supply chain — refrigerated or insulated shipping is not generally necessary for short domestic transit, provided the product is moved to correct storage promptly on arrival.
What to Do When Your Order Arrives
- Inspect the packaging — check the seal is intact and there’s no visible damage to the vial
- Note the batch number on the label, and cross-reference it against the COA available on the product page
- Move the vial to a freezer promptly — don’t leave it at room temperature longer than necessary

Keep the vial sealed, in its original container, away from direct light and humidity. The two factors that most affect lyophilised stability over time are moisture ingress and heat exposure — both of which are minimised by keeping the vial sealed and frozen until you’re ready to use it.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycling where possible — taking a vial in and out of the freezer repeatedly is more damaging than maintaining a stable temperature.
A Note on Reconstituted Peptides
Once a lyophilised peptide is dissolved in a solvent such as bacteriostatic water, its stability profile changes considerably — the dry powder form is significantly more stable than any reconstituted solution. Researchers should refer to their own laboratory protocols and the specific compound’s documented characteristics when determining appropriate storage and usage windows for reconstituted material, as this varies between compounds and is outside the scope of what we can advise as a supplier of research-only materials.
Why We Don’t Provide Reconstitution Calculators or Dosing Guidance
Claripep supplies research-grade compounds for laboratory use. We don’t provide reconstitution ratios, dosing calculators, or administration guidance, because doing so would imply a use case — human or animal administration — that our products are not licensed, tested, or intended for. Researchers should determine their own protocols in line with their institution’s standards and the specific aims of their research.
